Hi,
I’m a Mac user in Taiwan.
Recently I need to back up my mac and transfer them to my new intel mac. So I googled what I need and I found your app.
It’s nice. Works well in my zh-tw language Mac OS X. But it’ll be much better if it has a restore function(Of course, the route should be referred by user.) Anyway, benchwarmer is nice to help me back my things up.
Thank you very much,
Best regards,

How do you restore a backup of mail?

Thanks for the input. I will attempt to include some language functionality in the future as well as a restore function. As for manually restoring, open up the zip file created by benchwarmer. You will see a readme file and a “Users” folder. This users folder contains all the files that were backed up, stored in the same folder structure as they are on your hard drive. So to restore Mail for example, you will need to copy the following from the Users folder in the archive to the Users folder on your hard drive:
Users/(your userrname)/Library/MailUsers/(your userrname)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plistLet me know if this helps.
