Faithful blatti.net viewers,

I am now posting on ihatemycubicle.com I am going to divide my time to post at both sites. There are a few more authors there, so you will get a lot more of the same type of crap I post here.

My posts are under LegendInMySpareTime, which is also my handle on Fark if you see me there.

Job be gone!

  • Personal

Ahh…today I had my annual review. I was told I was doing a good job, but before they could lay a measly 3% raise on me, I quit! This has been planned for a while, it wasn’t just spur of the moment. I will be starting my own company to work with Zero Access. Yes the website blows – that is one of my first projects. Jen and I had talked about starting a company (Matchbox Media) to do web consulting. Perhaps one day Matchbox Media will spawn from Matchbook Technologies. I am reasonably sure this will be the name of my new company. Here is a tentative logo.

Anyone have any better ideas for name or logo? Put it in the comments biatch!

Kelly’s family comes over and tells me there is a note on my car. Being convinced that all the people in my building are petty and have nothing better to do than watch me like a hawk and criticize every action, I knew that this note was going to be funny. It completely exceeded my expectations. The general vibe of the note was that I wasn’t parked far enough forward in my spot. As expected, punctuation was horrible and the double underlining appeared under words that needed no emphasis. Everything was spelled properly, so it was a small step above what I am used to dealing with. As you guessed, I was parked dead center in my spot, and the person who wrote me the note decided to park over the line, assumedly in some sort of pseudo-retarded attempt at teaching me a lesson. It was so funny I had to take a picture. Note the amount of room behind my car, in combination with the room left behind his/her/its car. Click it for a large version. (Note – Their car looks deformed because it is a compilation of two pictures)

So many ideas of how to respond ran through my head, but between the shock, the laughter, and the knowledge that my witty response would be over the head of whoever wrote me this note, I said nothing. Now at least I will get a laugh every time I see these people. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Funny: Overpaid athlete getting hit with a lawsuit. Funnier: He is getting sued for passing an STD. Funniest: The athlete is Randy Moss. Sorry, you are going to have to settle for funnier.

It seems that everyone’s favorite herpes infected quarterback, Michael Vick (a.k.a. Ron Mexico) has been passing more than a football lately. Who wants to bet this one gets settled out of court? Perhaps some public service ads will help the situation?

If you are like me, you are dying to know what a day in the life of Britney Spears is like. I want to experience her marriage first hand. Luckily for us, UPN is going to be airing just that.

I am going to guess lots of Old Style and Marlboro’s mixed with a splash of true love. Awww….
